You get a plain-language year-end statement. Most sellers are under the reporting threshold; we'll tell you if you aren't.
Income from selling power is income, and we make it easy to report.
What you get
Every January you receive a one-page statement showing total kWh sold, total paid out, and the fee taken. If your payouts pass the federal reporting threshold you also receive the relevant tax form from us.
Most sellers stay below it
A typical seller earns a few hundred dollars a month. Many stay under the threshold for the year, and we flag it clearly in the app if you are approaching it.
